Day Break is an organization serving the needs of the physically, cognitively or socially impaired members of the community, located in downtown Kinston directly across from the public library.

Day Break is an alternative in the long term care system. Day Break helps individuals remain within the community.

We provide a variety of socially, physically and mentally stimulating activities designed to encourage independence and to reinforce those skills needed to remain in an independent, at home living environment.

Day Break provides compassionate, quality care to individuals served, along with sensitivity and understanding to family members.

Our goal is to provide a complete continuum of care that encompasses the community adult day care. We are committed to providing quality care through innovative and futuristic approaches to adults of all races and creeds, from ages 18 to 100 plus.
